How We Use Your Information

Gift Aid To claim Gift Aid with HMRC we require your name, address, postcode and confirmation that you are a UK taxpayer. This information also allows us to reprint your ticket if required.

Enquiries, Questions and Complaints You can contact us without providing personal information. If you require a follow-up response we will ask for your preferred contact details, used solely to respond to your query.

Comment Cards We welcome feedback via paper or digital comment cards. We may ask for your postcode to understand visitor demographics — this is optional. Contact details are only used if you have specifically requested a reply.

First Aid and Emergencies In the event of an incident or emergency we may record personal contact details for insurance or follow-up purposes only. Incidents may be discussed in health and safety meetings with all personal data removed.

Electronic Newsletter Our e-newsletter is sent only to those who have given express permission to receive it. We will never use contact details collected for another purpose (such as Gift Aid) to send you marketing communications.

Bookings and Orders Online ticket purchases, event bookings, gift cards, wheelchair loans, classic vehicle visits, group bookings and shop purchases may require your personal details to complete the transaction. This data is used solely for that purpose. We use a secure payment gateway and do not have access to your full payment card details.

Suppliers and Contractors Contact details for suppliers and contractors are held securely and used solely for the purposes of fulfilling our contractual obligations. They are never shared with third parties.

Donations Donations of physical objects or archive material require basic contact details and a signature on an entry form. Cash donations require no personal information, though Gift Aid forms are available. Cheque and other monetary donations will be acknowledged on request but will not be made public without your express agreement.

We do not sell or share your personal data with any third party, with the sole exception of Gift Aid information shared with HMRC as required by law.
