Tutbury Band

For your enjoyment, there will be live music from Tutbury Brass Band on the bandstand today.

Formed in 1980, this wind band is based in the beautiful East Staffordshire village of Tutbury, near Burton on Trent.  The Tutbury Band is one of the largest community bands in the UK.  They have a combined membership of between a 100 and 130 musicians across Tutbury Band and Tutbury Discovery Band.

The Tutbury Band performs at a variety of events including: summer shows, festivals, fetes, fund-raisers and more formal concerts. Places they have played range from Burton Town Hall to Strathpeffer Pavillion in the Highlands of Scotland and the Carrickmacross Twins festival in Ireland! They have toured in Belgium, including Ypres and played at the Menin Gate. They are proud to have been featured on BBC, ITV and Sky television programmes.
