Otherwise, we require proof of purchase in the form of a bank statement to re-issue your ticket. We accept a photo of the purchased ticket as a digital copy. The ticket must to be signed by all the adults on the ticket before the photo is taken. We also need to see all the information on the ticket to ensure it is valid.

We offer gift vouchers in place of tickets. If you wish to order one, please email: enquiry@tramway.co.uk with a contact telephone number, and we will contact you and take details over the telephone and post you the voucher(s).

If you already have free return tickets, corporate tickets, gift vouchers or vouchers offering discounts (e.g. English Heritage membership, Caravan Club or a promotional offer) these can only be processed on arrival and cannot be pre-purchased.

Dogs on a lead are accepted, provided that owners control them and clean up after them. They are not permitted in the cafe or the indoor children’s play area, but can go everywhere else, including on the floor of the lower decks of trams. They are permitted in the Red Lion pub, where you can purchase snacks. Please be aware that some visitors may by afraid of or allergic to dogs, so they should be kept close to the owner at all times.
